This is a great mid-week dinnertime saver as it only takes 15 minutes to prepare! I ofter have one of the kids helping me with various tasks, like chopping mushrooms (they’re soft so easy for the little ones to chop!), bringing rubbish to the bin, handing me the spice jars, mushing the avocados… It’s a big help for me as I don’t need to keep an eye on them at the same time and they help getting the dinner ready.
This warm chicken wrap is one of my favourites. It’s quick and easy, it’s tasty, and you can put in pretty much anything you like or can find in the kitchen! It’s a handy one for even the smallest ones as they can just use their hands and it’s easy to pick and choose what you put in. It’s nothing new under the sun, but I sometimes find it hard to come up with new ideas, which is why I like sharing these recipes (whenever I get around to it!).
The video is only 15 sec showing the main steps. I did this last week for the four of us and it took me about 15 mins from start to finish. I hope you enjoy it!
It’s a weekend filled with adventures and excitement. Today we decided to “climb a mountain” and took off to Killiney Hill between the showers. I know, it’s not exactly a mountain, but it was good enough for us.
Why take the path when there’s an adventure track right beside it?!
We go to Killiney Hill every so often. It’s a great spot with handy parking, forest paths, amazing views and let’s not forget the playground and tea rooms! It’s perfect for a little adventure.
And the excitement? One more sleep until we take off to Finland for five weeks!! Me and the kids for the first three weeks and then Daddy Messer will join us for the last two weeks. I can’t wait!!
To the Obelisk!!
Missy Messer loves to suck her thumb. She does it all the time. Sometimes we have to ask her to take the thumb out when she’s talking… It looks very cute and it hasn’t affected her speech. It gives her great comfort and made our lives much easier when she was a baby as you can’t really lose your thumb in the bed!
It has been such a lovely week this week and then we woke up to the thunder and lightning this morning… Luckily enough, it’s the last day of Mr Messer’s football camp at Foxrock-Cabinteely GAA so they actually got a full four days of sunshine! Continue reading
